“A group of middle class Indian students organize a protest against a radical Hindu called Muthalik. He wants to disrupt the celebration of Valentines Day. He considers it to be improper for Hindus to celebrate.”

More was happening in India in 2009 – the year I travelled there for the third time. In January, forty men of a radical Hindu organization attacked a modern Indian pub and beat up women who were there having a beer with friends. Modern India seems to clash with the traditions many people in India still cherish.

I could have made an objective documentary about this conflict in Indian society. I did not entirely do this. My personal experiences and philosophical ideas pushed the editing process toward a more subjective story telling.
