Following a river from its source in the Hoge Venen in Belgium, I mused on the idea of the river’s journey becoming a metaphor for migration.

The film consist of short sequences, all different from each other, which are inserted in the story told about the river’s journey. The short sequences are images without words and express certain subjects concerning “Migration”, the subtitle of the film.
